Romans 8
For I am persuaded that neither death, nor life,
Nor angels, nor principalities,
Nor powers, nor things present, nor anything to come,
Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature
Shall be able to separate us from the love of God,
Which is in Christ Jesus our Lord!

You say you’re a sinner, that you fail God day and night,
You try to turn back to Him, but still you don’t feel right,
You just don’t say how He could say “I love” again,
But let me tell you brother, there’s a promise in His hand….

You just do not understand His love for you, you say,
Especially when you turn and try to do things your own way,
You stumble and you fumble in everything you do,
But let me tell you sister, there’s a promise here for you…

So if you’re like me, then you’ll see there is no way
To earn all the love of God in any single way,
Just rest upon the blood that was shed at Calvary,
And Romans 8, verse 38 – the promise there you read….
