Pluie/Noir Podcast is a bi-monthly audio-visual episode representing our work as an artist collective. Each episode will feature a one hour collage/mix by one of our producers/djs and a poster triptych by one of our designers.
We interviewed both artists and dropped some questions about their vision:

:NO HYPE:

Pluie/Noir- What have you been up to lately?
No Hype- Lately I've been trying to find a stable place for me.. but.. just like in my musical experiments I'm not really feeling that I've been reaching it.. probably I should just go with the flow or search a little bit more.

Pluie/Noir- You're living in Germany right now, how does your life feel these days? Being away from Romania and all that..
No Hype- Well.. Germany was, and still is a major change for me: different culture, mentality, habits (and noise regulations). Fortunately it was here where I had the chance to meet all the persons (most of them online) that are helping me and with whom I'm getting involved in different activities. So yes.. Germany is the birthplace of No Hype and my second home.. but I do miss and need a typical romanian party, and dinner !

Pluie/Noir- Your podcast is filled with your own productions. How did you record it and why "The Loneliness Paradox"?
No Hype- This is actually my first Ableton Live Performance, recorded with a computer and two MIDI-Controllers.. nothing too cushy. You'll get to listen to personal favourites, and some of my own work. I tried to keep it simple while still mind and soul involving. The name just came up as I was returning from the nightclubber.ro party in London. I'll let the listeners figure out the meaning of it. Criticism should go directly to my inbox ! ( :

Pluie/Noir- How do you find working with the artists in the collective?
No Hype- I find the mixture of graphic and sound pretty constructive and you can already hear productions from my really talented friend Thilo and me under the name Hilmar Costin, or the turned-out-to-be-sweet attempt to make a track that Cleymoore and I had. It's a really dynamic enviroment and I'm really happy to be a part of it.

Pluie/Noir- Future plans, gigs or releases?
No Hype- A good traveller has no fixed plans ! (Google Cliché, i know.. ) Just keep up with one of my pages and you'll find out at the right time !

:LUCAS GUTIERREZ:

Pluie/Noir- You're one of our most far-away artists. How's life in Argentina?
Lucas- Our performance is verbose and passion commands all. Living here has an air of the image number 3.

Pluie/Noir- What can you tell us about your work as a audio-visual artist?
Lucas- A couple of years ago, I focused only on video. Today I decided to add my own sounds to visual works that sometimes arise from static charts and old vjsets (very old). I work live a lot (real time) and I like the fact that what I do cannot be repeated ever alike.

Pluie/Noir- You have a long relationship with Portugal, specially with FUNGO, and now us. How nice is it to work across seas with a bunch of portuguese dreamers?
Lucas- I have a great link with the Portuguese people. FUNGO is the great outbreak of a spontaneously wonderful connection. When I feel that I'm going to the same place, the water disappears through touch. And that will happen with Pluie/Noir.

Pluie/Noir- Your triptych is our most dark graphical presentation yet and completely fitting No Hype's podcast and tittle. Tell us about your vision!
Lucas- I feel that if something communicates in these values of color, it works. The podcast is like this, it's concise and isn't messing around. The "loneliness" feeling is there aswell.

Pluie/Noir- Future plans?
Lucas- Loads. Spend more time in Lisbon, & Love!
