TC catches up with the Def Leppard frontman about their new collection "Def Leppard", The Hysteria On The High Seas Cruise, and a past, present and future look at this iconic band!

Interview Summary

1. Terrie got a promo copy of the new album. Says it's iconic DL sound but diverse. Joe says Terrie should review it for Rolling Stone. Joe tells the story of how the album came about.
2. Joe says they decided to make a proper classic album in terms of running order.
3. With this album DL have touched on their own past. Also touched on the past of artists who have influenced them. Also hopefully brought something to the table for the long-term DL fan.
4. Blessing to still be able to play to 10K a night and not be playing in a bowling alley. Does get mentally and physically tiring. Mostly joyous.
5. Def Leppard cruise. What's it like? I have no idea. Brand new experience for all of us. Hope we don't sail off into a hurricane.
6. Classic Rock Fanpack. Doing our best to take care of the fans.
7. What's it like when you look back on the DL legacy and you are putting out a record you feel so good about? It has to be a great time for the band. It is. Certain parts of your career stand out. Both good and bad. You have to lose a few to know what winning represents. We genuinely believe this is a fantastic piece of work that stands up to anything we've ever made.
