Verse 1:
It’s a bone chilling night in the middle of December..
Another night not to remember
For a woman who’s dressed up in a mini-skirt
Awaiting to be flagged down by cars so she can flirt

And clock in to work. Making money for her pimp
Who promised her a life she could’ve never dreamt:
A roof over her head, said she’d be well kempt.
Falling on hard times, thought she would be exempt.

Her mama died at sixteen. Dad serving life..
Talk about pain and strife.
Her pimp got her into drug use. Now she can not refuse.
She rely on him for everything so she had to pay her dues.

To her, loyalty was an illusion.
The things she used to love now brought her so much confusion:
STD’s, misdemeanors, clients so abusive.
Tryna find a way out, she looking for solutions.

One night, she’s approached by this lady at a hostel.
Who told her about the Gospel
And how true love comes from above. She started to cry
Confessed, Jesus as her Lord and forsook her wicked life.

She repented of her sins after the scriptures broke her down.
Praying and praising the Most High, to the floor she bowed.
Then wrote a suicide note, ‘cause new hope was found
Putting death to her old life. Believe she focused now!

Verse 2:
There was a gang banger, started by selling drugs.
Teenage dreams of becoming a thug
Basically ‘cause he ran wit’ low down and dirty dudes.
Then he rose up through the ranks by his servitude.

But one day, he got into a shootout with a rival gang.
Got shot twice in the ribs. Can’t even describe the pain.
Blood leaking everywhere, looking like the final stage.
Picked up by the Ambulance, hoping to survive the day.

In came a lady that night.
Working closely with nurses performing last rites...
She prayed for salvation of eternal life.
HalleluYAH! She found out he was revived..

With vengeance on his mind, initially he was hostile
When she sat by his bedside proclaiming the Gospel.
He eventually saw no need to act macho.
The way his life was going?.. So he became docile.

He realized that his life was a mess,
Yet recognized he was alive. Thus, he was blessed,
With a chance to repent of his sins so he confessed
While the lady grabbed the Bible out of the desk.

The lady, who witnessed to the ex-prostitute and the drug dealer,
Was a professing saint and soul healer.
Working two jobs to pay the cost of college, acquiring all this
Earthly wisdom but not much of godly knowledge.

When she found the time though, she was definitely eager
To go to church and see her favorite preacher.
Works and Prosperity Movement is the trend of many Christian leaders
Preaching a watered down Gospel. The Truth is rather meager.

Her pastor foolishly made an obligation
For people to get saved and only join his congregation.
Even said, "God would bless the person who brought the greatest
Amount of people," but she didn’t pray for confirmation.

Without contemplation, she thought she had to evangelize
Her way into Paradise, thinking she was doing fine.
