In the month that sees the 100th anniversary of his death, Donald Macleod explores the life and career of the virtuoso pianist and composer Alexander Scriabin (1870-1915) "one of the most enigmatic and controversial and artistic personalities of all time". In Wednesday's programme, Donald MacLeod focuses on 1903 - a year full of both personal and professional change for Scriabin - when he left behind the shadow of Chopin and produced a prodigious amount of music in a new individual style.
